“The Lover's Eye” Victorian Jewelry: Romance and

Materials: not included We invite you to attend a brief lecture exploring the fabulously romantic and macabre world of Victorian jewelry and adornment. Delve into a world-gone-by era of mysticism, nature, affection and grief in the symbols and customs of Victorian tradition. Beautiful, authentic pieces will be available for display and discussion. After the lecture, you may stay and participate in a short workshop where you will create your own Victorian-style piece of jewelry (materials not included). Several options will be available to choose from. Sign-up is required, as usual, but there is no fee to attend! |

Independence Day Kids Workshop Saturday, July 3rd from 2:00pm onwards Cost: $15 Materials: included In this fun-filled workshop kids will create a cool red, white and blue necklace or bookmark of their own design! These projects are intended for children who are about 6-10 years old. Adults are welcome to stay and help their little beaders if desired. Depending on the age (and pace!) of your child, this class can take anywhere from 20 minutes to one hour.
